Oscar-nominated director David O. Russell, who is busy putting the finishing touches on this December's 'American Hustle,' revealed that we can soon see another project from him that he won't be directing. Russell has written a horror script that he says Eli Roth actually plans to direct.

We were already excited to see 'American Hustle' because it's the latest film from the always-interesting David O. Russell and because it has one of the strongest ensembles in recent memory. But now, with the release of two new images, we're really excited to see it because it apparently pulls no punches when it comes to completely '80s-ifying stars Christian Bale, Amy Adams and Bradley Cooper. They look ludicrous...and also kind of awesome.

Though 2012's awards season has only recently come to an end, that doesn't mean filmmakers and studios aren't already plotting 2013's Oscar campaign. And it looks like David O. Russell wants to win a little gold statue as -- for the third time in four years -- he's got a new film scheduled to come out at the end of the year.
