Deadpool

Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life. Like Wolverine, Deadpool is a former subject of the Weapon X program, which turns humans into living weapons, currently working as a mercenary. Deadpool's primary power is an increased healing factor. This healing factor also renders him immune to psychic or telekinetic attacks, but it also has caused him to be psychotic and mentally unstable. He is one of the only Marvel superheroes to break the fourth wall to talk to the audience. He knows he's a fictional character and sometimes uses this to his own advantage.
