We have to admit, we're fairly disappointed that NBC and Bryan Fuller's 'Munsters' reboot 'Mockingbird Lane' isn't likely to continue beyond its special Halloween airing of the show's pilot.  Campy and re-hashing a premise though it might have seemed to begin with, once NBC released the first full photos and even a trailer we started to see how the tone actually seemed to work for the series.  So while October 26 will see the pilot airing and likely closing out the show's run, what twist do new photos introduce for the series going forward?

It's one of those things that doesn't feel real until you've actually seen footage. After all, there's no way to know for sure that NBC spent $10 million on a pilot/Halloween special remake of 'The Munsters' until you've seen actual evidence with your own two eyes. Alas, the first teaser for 'Mockingbird Lane' has arrived proving that yes, someone thought remaking the 'The Munsters' was a good idea and worth a lot of money.

Boy, someone's certainly excited to begin production, aren't they?  In the last 24 hours alone, we've seen Portia de Rossi added to the cast of NBC's forthcoming 'Munsters' reboot 'Mockingbird Lane,' as well as our first look at Charity Wakefield in costume as Marilyn, so what's next?  With production helmed by Bryan Fuller and Bryan Singer underway, which member of the cast is next to show off their look?

There are some projects some reboots, remakes and re-quels that viewers want so desperately to be left alone, they inevitably die out, like the unfathomably bad 'Charlies Angels.'  That said, 'Pushing Daisies' creator Bryan Fuller's upcoming reboot of the Munster family 'Mockingbird Lane' just moved one step closer to reality.
