Imagine you were to form a cinema nerd supergroup. Wouldn't you want Edgar Wright and J.J. Abrams in the mix? Well the two are working together on 'Collider' which Abrams will be producing, and Wright came up with the story. The script is being handled by Mark Protosevitch, who's probably best known for penning 'I Am Legend.'
Comic-Con 2012 just made fans of Edgar Wright's "Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy" very happy with an announcement from Universal Pictures that the final film in the series, 'The World's End' has been greenlit. They've even given us the first official poster for the film, which you can check out below!

Pegg has been shooting 'Star Trek 2' (but he just wrapped), so it was unknown when the film would be coming. Now we know, they've got a September start date with a planned Spring 2013 release.
