Elizabeth Banks made a solid transition from actor to director on Pitch Perfect 2, so solid, in fact, that she’s already lined up two other directing projects. But before she gets to those, she’s been asked to return to the director’s chair for Pitch Perfect 3, which is prepping to head into production this fall. Aca-awesome.

SNL will take a short hiatus after Tracy Morgan’s triumphant return, opening back up on November 7 with a likely bit of controversy, thought we can much more confidently bank on the subsequent outing. November 14 will see the odds ever in our favor, as Hunger Games star Elizabeth Banks takes the stage for the first time as host.

We know you’re all excited about Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and while many of you purchased your tickets last night, you shouldn’t forget that we still have several movies hitting theaters between now and December 18 — like the final chapter of The Hunger Games franchise, which sees Katniss Everdeen engaging in all-out war with the nefarious President Snow. Two new TV spots (and a few photos) have arrived to get you suitably pumped for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2.

It’s taken Katniss Everdeen four films, but she’s finally making her way to the Capitol to confront the nefarious President Snow once and for all…and she’s not alone. The latest trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 is even better than the first, comprised almost entirely of hero shots and action sequences, set to a climactic drum score. It’s time for Panem to turn their eyes — and weapons — to Snow.

Elizabeth Banks made an impressive directorial debut with Pitch Perfect 2, and it wasn’t long after that she signed on to direct an adaptation of the YA novel Red Queen. And now it seems as though the actress has another female-centric project on her radar as Banks is reportedly in talks to direct a new Charlie’s Angels movie. Begin fan-casting now.

Apart from the gargantuan task of reassembling the stars of Wet Hot American Summer for Netflix’s First Day of Camp, we have to wonder if the new series could recapture that same chemistry. Wonder no more, as Elizabeth Banks headlines the first official clip of our return to Camp Firewood, and things are getting Wet Hot, and perhaps American already. Also, Summer.

Panem is heading to Comic-Con next week as The Hunger Games takes over Hall H on Thursday, kicking things off in (hopefully) spectacular fashion.
