Were there ever any doubt that Wet Hot American Summer would ride again, full cast and all, the first full trailer for Netflix prequel series First Day of Camp has arrived, and in glorious home video quality to boot.

This is a pretty weird clip to release from Magic Mike XXL — it is apparently the first time we see Elizabeth Banks’ character, who is surprised to see Channing Tatum’s Mike after he’s been out of the stripper game for a while. They appear to be at a convention, and Banks says they need an MC. And, okay, that’s it. But hey, it’s Elizabeth Banks.

The boys of Magic Mike are returning to theaters this summer, and while a couple of their old friends have been left behind, they’re welcoming a handful of new cast members, including Elizabeth Banks, Donald Glover and Andie MacDowell. Warner Bros. has unleashed almost 50 new stills from Magic Mike XXL, featuring old cast members and new, and you can even spot original Magic Mike director Steven Soderbergh hanging out on set.

Elizabeth Banks made her directorial debut with this summer’s Pitch Perfect 2 — not only did audiences really dig her handiwork, but it looks like Banks herself was quite pleased with the experience, as she’s currently looking to line up her sophomore effort. Her next film may very well find the Hunger Games star in familiar territory, with an adaptation of the YA novel Red Queen.

The original Pitch Perfect grossed a modest $65 million at the domestic box office, which was just enough to justify a sequel. Three years later, Pitch Perfect 2 has just passed $160 million on a budget of only $29 million, so yeah, of course Universal is officially moving forward with Pitch Perfect 3. It turns out that a combination of snarky comedy and a capella remixes of pop hits is a license to print money. So much money.

It took 14 years, but the cast of cult classic Wet Hot American Summer has finally reassembled on Netflix for the First Day of Camp. It’s hard to know how well the 2001 film will hold up as an eight-episode series, but the first magnificent photos of the star-studded cast stuffing themselves into the old costume are everything we dreamed of.

As if any disbelief over Netflix’s impending ‘Wet Hot American Summer’ revival miniseries lingered, the streaming service has already taken us back to Camp Firewood to rejoin the cast. It’s officially official, Netflix has become the patron saint of revivals. After the streaming service pulled a dead dove out of the hat to revive ‘Arrested Development,’ star-studded 2001 cult classic ‘Wet Hot American Summer’ has been set as a limited series revival, with near of the entire cast set to return. This news tastes like a burger, but we still like it.

It’s not often that we get to see Elizabeth Banks take on a dramatic role, but lest you forget that she’s got some versatility to offer, here comes the trailer for ‘Little Accidents,’ which is definitely Drama with a capital D. Banks stars in the film as Diane, the wife of a mining executive who is loathed for his involvement in a major accident. When their teenage son goes missing, Diane connects with the sole survivor of the mining incident, and as these things go, some unpleasant truths are bound to be uncovered.
