There was a time when we thought 'Sin City 2' would never happen. It's been eight years since the original hit theaters and director Robert Rodriguez, writer Frank Miller and the cast all seemed to have moved on. But, lo and behold, a weird thing happened and 'Sin City 2' actually got made. Today, we've got a new trailer for the long-awaited follow-up.

The first 'Sin City 2' trailer is finally here, and it's been long overdue. Not only has it been nine years since the first film hit theaters, but also the Robert Rodriguez film (officially titled 'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For') was delayed for a year for reasons unknown. So really appreciate this first look at the coming sequel.

'300: Rise of an Empire' Review

Before anything else: the sex.
There is a sex scene in '300: Rise of an Empire' that is an all-timer. Put it right up there on the shelf next to 'Don't Look Now,' 'A History of Violence,' 'Blue is the Warmest Color,' '9 ½ Weeks' and any of the others that make those best-of lists. Actually, put next to that insanity in the pool from 'Showgirls' (you know, with the dolphin statue?), because there's a level of playful absurdity that changes it from a representation of love (or, more accurately, lust) to something of a Broadway choreographer's interpretation of a fight. Like a 'West Side Story' rumble, but with Eva Green moaning and bent over a table with maps and war figurines. A rise of an empire, indeed.

As we approach the theatrical release of '300: Rise of an Empire' and the first reviews slowly trickle out -- with our own Mike Sampson briefly summarizing it as "equal parts legitimately good, legitimately bad and so-bad-it's-good" -- Warner Bros. unleashed a massive new look at Eva Green and Sullivan Stapleton duking it out on the high seas.

Back in January we got our first real look at Showtime's forthcoming "psychosexual" monster mash 'Penny Dreadful, though nothing quite as revealing as the sizzle reel presented at the TCA tour. Now, as if Valentine's Day hadn't gotten enough blood pumping, we've got the full trailer for Josh Hartnett and '300' star Eva Green's sexy and spectacularly bloody 'Penny Dreadful'!

Though there've been countless trailers and images for '300: Rise of an Empire' -- heck, we went to Comic-Con and even the set itself to learn more about this film -- you may still be wondering what it is all about. Is it a sequel? A prequel? A spinoff? Let's put these questions to rest as the cast and crew behind 'Rise' walks us through the story in a new behind-the-scenes featurette.

'White Bird in a Blizzard' Review

Why Not Productions
Indie auteur Gregg Araki has consistently used his films to explore drugs and dysfunction (with plenty of sex for added sizzle), so it’s natural that he would want to use his trademark point of view to address suburban malaise and a lingering mystery rooted in a bit of madness for his latest outing.
Araki’s ‘White Bird in a Blizzard’ centers on Kat Connors (Shailene Woodley), a seemingly regular teenage girl in 1988 whose world is turned upside down by the sudden disappearance of her mercurial and abusive mother, Eve (Eve Green). Set over the course of three years, ‘White Bird’ tracks the growing mystery surrounding what happened to Eve and how it changes the passionate Kat as she attempts to grow into a young woman. It may sound straightforward enough, but the film tries to twist wholly predictable plot points and trick normal narratives in a misguided attempt to bolster the damningly flat and poorly put-together feature.
