Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s AMC Preacher has been careful to keep most of its demons under wraps, but the dead will truly come out to play one night after Halloween. AMC has scheduled the first Preacher trailer to debut on November 1, simultaneously expanding that night’s all-new Walking Dead to 90 minutes.

We haven’t yet seen frame one of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s AMC take on Garth Ennis’ infamous Preacher, and already the pair might have an eye on another notable comic adaptation. The Superbad duo might next shop an adaptation of Ennis’ superhero-policing The Boys, potentially for cable.

A few leaked set photos marked the last we’d heard from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s AMC take on the iconic Preacher for some time, but Jesse Custer is finally ready to turn things upside down. The sinful comic-inspired series has officially gone to series and set a mid-2016 premiere date, while the first poster certainly inverts expectations.

We’re still awaiting news on the man himself, but AMC’s Preacher keeps right on casting its most recognizable characters, this time around giving a face (or at least part of it) to fan-favorite character Eugene Root. Rake star Ian Colletti will don the disfigurement of Preacher’s Arseface, but will AMC’s incarnation prove any lower-key?
