FX’s ‘Fargo’ gave its first bit of official season 2 casting last week with news that Kirsten Dunst and ‘Breaking Bad’'s Jesse Plemons would play a couple at the center of the ‘70s crime drama, but already the Coen-adapted Emmy-winner is taking things one step further. Quickly becoming a sought-after property by its Emmy wins, FX’s ‘Fargo’ adaptation recently put offers out to two sought-after stars, albeit without official confirmations yet. It’s been a good long while since we’ve heard anything from the front of FX’s ‘Fargo,’ last confirmed to prequelize itself in exploring the Sioux Falls case of a younger Lou Solverson, but we may yet have some friendly faces on the case. ‘Burn Notice’ star Jeffrey Donovan has reportedly been cast in a leading role, while ‘Parks and Recreation’ star Nick Offerman (and his mustache) has been approached as well.
