Call it the "Battle of the Paul Andersons": Paul WS Anderson's 'Resident Evil: Retribution' and Paul Thomas Anderson's 'The Master' both opened this week and both had completely different results, but they beg to be compared to each other.

When 'John Carter' bombed earlier this year, it looked like director Andrew Stanton was going to be thrown into director's jail. Although his live action debut may have lost Disney upwards of $200 million, there was always one place for Stanton to retreat: Pixar, the animation studio he helped found and the place where his work won him two Academy Awards. Then came the news that Stanton was going to lick his wounds by making a surefire success: 'Finding Nemo 2.' The cynics scoffed and rolled their eyes, but the director has a response for them.

The 'Toy Story' saga may be over in feature format, but the toys live on in short films. The first, 'Hawaiian Vacation,' premiered with 'Cars 2,' and the hilarious 'Small Fry' played before 'The Muppets' last year. We have all the details on the third (!!!) 'Toy Story' short, titled 'Partysaurus Rex,' which will hit theaters with the 3D re-release of 'Finding Nemo' next month.

Until 'Toy Story 3,' 'Finding Nemo' was Pixar's most successful film, and it could be again when it hits theaters in a 3-D version this September. There's a little more than $75 Million that separates their grosses, and reissues have been known to do well. We're guessing it's going to retake the throne.
