CBS Cancels SMG's 'The Crazy Ones,' 'Bad Teacher,' 'Intelligence' and More

All week long we've seen the axes fall and numerous series granted surprising renewals, and at long last CBS has chimed in with their major alterations for the year to come. Not only has Sarah Michelle Gellar and Robin Williams' 'The Crazy Ones' suffered a surprising cancellation, but so too has 'LOST' castaway Josh Holloway's 'Intelligence,' the 'Bad Teacher' adaptation and a number of other CBS series.

'How I Met Your Mother' Sets Series Finale Date for March 2014

Well, this is an odd play for the Trade Federation CBS. 'How I Met Your Mother' will be on everyone's lips this coming spring as the ninth and final season comes to an ultimate close, but the end might be sooner than we think! The eye network has set an official date for Ted Mosby to meet the mother, and unless it's an April fools, the MacLaren's gang will say goodbye in March 2014!

Despite the fact that ABC viewers had plenty more to mourn by the recent cancellation of 'Happy Endings,' the sadness truly first began when the show's frequent timeslot partner 'Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23' fell to the cancellation axe some months prior. Yet even with 'Apartment 23' firmer in the ground than 'Happy Endings,' guess which has eight new episodes you can watch right now?

Even though earlier today we heard the news that ABC would likely air the remaining episodes of 'Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23' this summer, after pulling the show from their lineup and effectively cancelling the series, the show's stars have wasted little time in finding new work. Not only has Krysten Ritter join NBC's Will Ferrell / Adam McKay-produced "Assistance," but now Dawson himself, James Van Der Beek will land on CBS as a gynecologist for 'Friends With Better Lives!'
