Most of the hype swirling around the summer movie season has involved superheroes, from ‘The Avengers’ to ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ and the occasional Spider-Man reference. ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ aims to change all that.

It's amazing what Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson can do to a franchise. Post 'Fast Five' we've seen him come into a number of different sequels and - for the most part - get audiences excited. Without his presence, would people be as hopped up for 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation'? There are two new foreign TV spots for the film, check them out.

We’re starting to see more ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ images cross the Web as we inch closer to the film’s June 29 release date – including that sweet new one of a dapper Bruce Willis ready to dispatch some COBRA scum with his sleek, stealth hand cannon.

It's been three years since the first 'G.I. Joe' film exploded onto the big screen, and while the sequel, 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' sees few familiar faces, this new image (below) courtesy of Total Film guarantees the return of a certain bad-ass.
