Arrow producers have made no secret of the fact that tonight’s “Public Enemy” would completely change the DC drama as we know it, and by Grodd, they weren’t kidding. What more insanity can Arrow Season 3 offer after the central shock of tonight’s vigilante-busting “Public Enemy?”
Arrow’s most recent Suicide Squad venture seemingly set up a larger team presence in the CW super-drama’s fourth season outing this fall, but DC may have taken Task Force X off the table. At least one fan-favorite Suicide Squad character may not return to Arrow in the near future, and he may have taken the team with him.
Arrow Season 3 lets loose its 17th installment of the year with “Suicidal Tendencies,” as the Suicide Squad's return complicates Diggle and Lyla's wedding, while Oliver uncovers a rash of Ra's al Ghul's copycats archers, forcing him to square off against Ray Palmer in his A.T.O.M. suit.
Arrow Season 3 lets loose its 16th installment of the year with “The Offer,” as Oliver returns to Starling to consider Ra's al Ghul's proposal, while Laurel bonds with Nyssa, and Quentin breaks away from the Arrow.
Both Arrow and The Flash had plenty to offer by their recent PaleyFest panels, teasing everything from famous Flash stories to major Starling City reveals, but at last we can see for ourselves. The CW’s Arrow still has an “Offer” to mull by his March 18 return, but the next week will see “Suicidal Tendencies” out in force as the squad braces for Diggle’s wedding, and Oliver comes face to face with Ray Palmer in his A.T.O.M. guise. Hard as it was to imagine Arrow spawning yet another spinoff for Brandon Routh’s Atom, The CW did fans one better to develop a major team-up series culling players from both Oliver Queen and The Flash’s world. It’s still daunting to think such a major undertaking will come to pass, but the spinoff’s three secret DC heroes may yet have been revealed.
