The other day we were exhaustively relieved to learn that FX's Guillermo del Toro vampire pilot 'The Strain' had officially been picked up to series, following a long development process. However, scheduling conflicts forced out del Toro regular and 'Doctor Who' star John Hurt, which is why 'Game of Thrones' baddie David Bradley has now joined the cast!

Finally! We've been hearing for months about the incredible casting choices for FX's adaptation of Guillermo del Toro's iconic vampire trilogy 'The Strain,' though the network had yet to issue an official series order. Now, the day has at long last come, for vampire horror-drama 'The Strain' will see the light in 2014 with a full season!

Regardless of the mixed reception Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' has come to endure, there remains the exciting prospect of Marvel's TV future, especially with possibly four new series on the way. Getting 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' off the ground was no easy feat, however, as Marvel TV boss Jeph Loeb recently opened up about Guillermo del Toro's failed 'Hulk' series, and the big names in the running for future Marvel TV.

Here's the good news: Legendary Pictures has officially given Guillermo del Toro's new horror film an April 2015 release date. Now, the bad news: They've also give the film, previously titled 'Crimson Peak,' a crappy, generic new title - 'Haunted Peak.'
