‘Agent Carter’ returns tonight with its third installment, “Time and Tide,” which finds Peggy perpetually just one step ahead of her male colleagues at the SSR as she and Jarvis continue to follow the lead left behind by the (now deceased) Leet Brannis. We may be three episodes in already, but ‘Agent Carter’ and Peggy herself are definitely not short on the action. “Time and Tide” eases up on the heavier elements of misogyny, finding a more relaxed rhythm for Peggy and Co.

Marvel’s ‘Agent Carter’ arrived only days ago with an explosive two-hour debut, but next week’s installment “Time & Tide” will be anything but back to business. The hunt for Howard Stark’s tech is on, but by the first clip and photos, Peggy will have more than a few forces hunting her; including her own SSR co-workers!

Now that Marvel’s ‘Agent Carter’ has unveiled a full quarter of its 8-episode run with last night’s double premiere, the time has come to look into Peggy’s future, er…past. The demands of filming a television series -- especially a highly anticipated one like Marvel's own 'Agent Carter' -- often lead to some strange side effects that bleed over into real life. For star Hayley Atwell (the eponymous Agent Peggy Carter herself), that apparently included having to run errands while done up in full post-World War II regalia.

Who is Agent Carter? More specifically, who is Agent Carter removed from Steve Rogers and Captain America? Marvel attempts to answer that question with the two-hour premiere of ‘Agent Carter,’ a miniseries that takes us back to 1946, and arguably delivers Marvel Studios’ first solo female superhero project. And they’ve really delivered.
