The massive success of Game of Thrones’ all-too-brief IMAX run naturally left the company ravenous for another TV event, and who better to follow than The Walking Dead? Yes, the Ricktatorship might hack and slash the undead of an IMAX screen near you, if the company (and fans!) have their way.

Avengers: Infinity War, the two-part conclusion to the current Marvel Cinematic Universe, promises to be one of the biggest movie experiences in recent memory. And to make it even bigger, Marvel and Infinity War directors Joe and Anthony Russo have announced that both installments of the finale will be shot entirely in IMAX, a first for a Hollywood feature film.

Now that Disney has struck a deal with IMAX for future releases of their MCU and Star Wars films, we can expect the filmmakers behind these movies to begin utilizing IMAX cameras for a more immersive experience. But while each of these films will be formatted for release in IMAX theaters, it’s been unclear which (if any) of them will actually shoot with those nifty cameras. According to a new report, Captain America: Civil War most definitely will.

Martin fantasy drama has released a new trailer for its forthcoming IMAX presentation, unboxing a brand-new bit of footage from season 5 to boot!

HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’ somehow managed to up its epic scale even further with IMAX screenings to debut the season 5 trailer, but it seems the January 23 screening has officially been de-throned.
