The 'Expendables' franchise is built entirely on the idea that watching a whole bunch of movie stars (from former legends to C-listers) kill a whole bunch of people will make for a good time at the movies. Franchise star and chief creative voice Sylvester Stallone has promised that 'The Expendables 3' will up the ante in every way and the news that Jackie Chan, Wesley Snipes, Nicolas Cage and Milla Jovovich are in talks to join the cast has us believing him.

If there's one thing Sylvester Stallone understands about the 'Expendables' franchise, it's that you've got to go big or go home. Everything we've heard about the upcoming 'Expendables 3' makes it sound like it's in a mad rush to make up for the particularly poor second film, which can only be a good thing.
