We kid James Franco. For his bizarro turn on 'General Hospital' and his novel and his movie about Lindsay Lohan...we kid. Now the actor is not only starring in a new commercial but he also directed it as well. And it's about how he directed and starred in a commercial. It's very James Franco...
We're impressed with the level of ridiculous this week has to offer. James Franco is making a movie about Lindsay Lohan's life, Universal is or isn't or is lying about dumping Kristen Stewart from the 'Snow White and the Huntsman' sequel, a dude shot himself in the butt at the movies, and 'The Price is Right' wants to add male models to their showroom. Could this week be any more ridiculous? Wait, don't answer that.
There's something about the 'innocence lost' stories that gets all of us, whether it's an 80's comedy about guys trying to lose their virginity or a Midwestern girl heading to Hollywood to become a star. 'About Cherry' is one of those stories, this time dealing with an 18 year-old blond and her dive into the skin-filled world of porn.
Seth Rogen's directorial debut 'The End of the World' is currently filming in New Orleans with an all-star cast that few comedies have seen in recent years. Along with past co-stars James Franco, Jonah Hill, Michael Cera, Paul Rudd, Jay Baruchel and Jason Segel, the film has also brought along Rihanna, Emma Watson and Aziz Ansari along for the fun.
Today we have the first pictures from the set as the apocalypse looks like it's just about to unfold...
Here’s what we know about Harmony Korine’s comedy-drama ‘Spring Breakers’ so far: The cute chick from ‘The Wizards of Waverly Place’ (Selena Gomez) grew up fast; James Franco does a mean K-Fed impression; and, after viewing these photos, we night need to clear out our internet cache, just in case my laptop somehow lands in the hands of the authorities.
It's hard to keep track of all the great stories coming out of CinemaCon this week, but one of the coolest is the news that 20th Century Fox is gearing up for a sequel to 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes.' One of last year's most pleasant surprises, the film was both a critical and commercial success, and Fox is saying that they want to start shooting this summer.
