Even after the release of the official plot synopsis for Fox’s ‘Fantastic Four’ reboot, we’re still pretty much in the dark about the film. We know the casting by heart now, and we’ve learned some eyebrow-raising details about the revamped origins of Doctor Doom, but we haven’t seen or heard very much about ‘Fantastic Four’ or how director Josh Trank is approaching the younger cast of characters and their abilities. A new interview with one of the film’s motion capture experts helps to shed some light on at least one character in the film: The Thing, aka Ben Grimm, portrayed in this new version by Jamie Bell.

'Fantastic Four,' the rebooted film franchise coming from 'Chronicle' director Josh Trank, is busy filming with stars Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, Miles Teller and Jamie Bell. The team is so busy, in fact, that they couldn't even make it to Comic-Con 2014 as no footage or images were officially ready to display. However, we might have just got our first look at 'Fantastic Four' anyway.

The cast and crew have been on location in Louisiana filming for a couple months now, but will they be jetting to San Diego to appease the fans?

UPDATE: For what it's worth, we spoke to some high-level studio sources who flatly denied the below report and stated it's "not at all" true. Filming is still scheduled to begin on April 21 and Trank himself is on set right now.
The 'Fantastic Four' movie has not been without its hiccups, but few superhero movies are. We didn't think much of the troubles and when the cast was finally announced - Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara and Jamie Bell - we assumed it would be a fairly smooth ride to the start of production this summer. But, according to a shocking new report, Fox is looking to reboot it's reboot: they reportedly have fired director Josh Trank, thrown out the existing script and are looking to recast the movie.

Josh Trank's 'Fantastic Four' reboot caused much speculation as of late as various actors and actresses have been mentioned for roles. Michael B. Jordan of 'Fruitvale Station' has long been linked to the role of Johnny Storm/Human Torch (a role previously portrayed onscreen by Chris Evans), but now it looks like the other members of his team have been found!
