Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day are back in 'Horrible Bosses 2,' and these working stiffs have some new adversaries to face. As New Line Cinema announced the start of production in Los Angeles, California (from which we've obtained the first set photos), the studio also revealed the official plot synopsis and the full involvement of newcomers Chris Pine and Christoph Waltz.
'We're the Millers' is a vexing film. It's just funny enough to keep from being truly bad, but too preposterous and predictable to be anything close to good. For every laugh there's something that will make you want to hurl an object at the screen. When it flubs, it flubs hard, allowing each of the four main characters a chance to embarrass themselves. And yet, if you wait 'til the next scene, there's the possibility that whoever just served up a would-be joke in a humiliating fashion will do something inspired. As such, 'We're the Millers' wins some respect for at least being a very odd moviegoing experience.
By the end of 'SNL''s most recent season, it had seemed apparent that longtime series stars Bill Hader, Fred Armisen and Jason Sudeikis were bound to exit the sketch comedy show before the fall, though Sudeikis' departure was repeatedly implied to be unofficial, even debatable. Now, as the summer moves into its later months, the 'We're the Millers' star has officially confirmed his 'SNL' days are done.
By the end of this year's 'SNL' season finale (which was hosted by 'Argo' director Ben Affleck), it was obvious that series veteran Bill Hader would be depart the series. But while it's still unknown if fellow veteran Jason Sudeikis will also be saying goodbye, it's now clear that Fred Armisen's final tribute performance was meant to confirm the 'Portlandia' star's 'SNL' exit.
The most recent season of 'SNL' that made its closing bow this past weekend proved particularly difficult, saying goodbye to both veterans Bill Hader and Fred Armisen, with knowledge Seth Meyers would move on to his next venture in 2014. Jason Sudeikis' status has remained unconfirmed, however, so what chance do we have of having the 'We're the Millers' star return for season 39? Hear the latest from Sudeikis himself inside!
A small-time pot dealer attempts to clear his debts by smuggling a large amount of drugs across the US-Mexico border under the guise of a fake family vacation.
This past weekend during 'SNL's' heartwarming season finale, cast and crew bid adieu to both Bill Hader and Fred Armisen, while less in focus was the fate of fellow veteran Jason Sudeikis. Sudeikis has kept mum on the prospect of his 'SNL' future, but has cast member Jay Pharoah accidentally spilled the beans?
This past weekend's 'SNL' with Kristen Wiig drew heavily on nostalgia, but it seems we didn't know which performer's absence would truly soon be felt. In advance of the season finale with Ben Affleck and Kanye West, 'SNL' veteran Bill Hader has revealed his intent to leave the series, but who might also leave behind the late-night, sketch comedy?
Although SNL is known for frequently pushing the boundaries of good taste, it tends to favor comedy of the sexual and political nature above anything else. That's why a certain sketch on last night's Kristen Wiig-hosted episode proved to be a massive shock -- it's not every day that the longrunning comedy variety show gets violent.
