Well, if Roseanne can come back without needing to make sense of its ending, why not Felicity? That’s the question posed to stars Keri Russell and Scott Speedman, who told Jimmy Kimmel they’d be up for a Netflix revival “in a heartbeat.”

I have interviewed a lot of actors and directors. When I tell people I interviewed someone famous, their first question is always the same: “Were they nice?” It’s usually hard to say; you don’t get much time with these filmmakers and they’re typically on their best behavior because they want you to write nice things about them. Interviewing a director is like being on a reality show: I’m not there to make friends.

With Star Wars: The Last Jedi dominating today’s conversations on social media, you might’ve forgotten that there are actually other movies being released in 2017. There are many! In fact, some of them are even being released by the same studio! One such film  —  the little-known Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2  —  braved the onslaught of Star Wars talk to release a brand new clip last night, setting the stage for future films in the franchise (and turning one late night sidekick into a movie star in the process). We’re no where near the middle of outrage from proposed congressional budget cuts, the most visible of which would eliminate funding for staples like the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Sesame Street in particular made headlines switching from PBS funding to HBO, though both it, and Jimmy Kimmel have now placed Big Bird in the spotlight to address the historic cut.

The late-night wars have seen a surprising shift in recent months, as Colbert’s Late Show begins to overtake Fallon’s Tonight Show ratings, but might we be in for another shake-up soon? Perhaps over at ABC, as Jimmy Kimmel is apparently considering leaving Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2019.

We missed out on Back to the Future 2 premonitions by one year, but the Chicago Cubs making it to their first World Series in 71 years is no less historic. At least one pop culture Cubs reference is alive and well, however, as Will Ferrell reprises his iconic Harry Caray impression for Jimmy Kimmel.

The Doctor Strange trailer debuted on Jimmy Kimmel Live! back in April, so it’s only fitting the late-night host would get more exclusive access to the latest Marvel hero. And by “exclusive,” we don’t exactly mean “hire the Sorcerer Supreme for children’s birthday parties,” but well, here we are.

Despite declining ratings, this year’s Emmy ceremony went off with nary a hitch, even affording some refreshing upsets in the usual pool of repeat winners. Jimmy Kimmel too did a perfectly serviceable job keeping things moving, but naturally made a few gaffes in production of that opening sketch, the blooper reel of which you can watch right now.

Let it never be said that sitcom stars don’t know how to negotiate through the media. Where CBS previously locked down The Big Bang Theory for Seasons 8, 9 and 10 all at once, it remains uncertain if the CBS powerhouse will continue beyond the upcoming year. As for Kaley Cuoco? “It’s a very expensive question.”
