Well, we’ve got some good news for you: it’s time to start getting excited about the next Marvel movie. Captain America: Civil War may be seven months away, but the trailer is set to debut with Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Who can wait until December 18 though? Stars Robert Downey, Jr. and Chris Evans will appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight to maybe, possibly debut the Captain America: Civil War trailer.

Harrison Ford appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night to talk publicly for the first time about breaking his ankle on the set of Star Wars, crashing his plane and how Star Wars: The Force Awakens is an “incredible” movie. Oh, we should also mention he did all this while dressed up as a hot dog.

How was your Future Day? Did you call anyone a bojo? Get into an altercation with bionically-modified street toughs? Get bummed out that the Cubs won’t actually win the World Series this year? Take out a second loan on your house to afford a down payment on some sneakerrs with power laces?

If The Avengers feel like one big, slightly dysfunctional family, it's because they are. And that applies to off-screen as well as on. Playing off that chemistry, the cast of Avengers: Age of Ultron — Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner — appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night and played a rousing game of Family Feud.

The late night talk show scene is lousy with fake gags, including plenty of sketches that center on fake television shows. This is fine! It’s fun even! But it’s not often that a fake late night show is so good, so strange, and so funny that we wish it were real. If only Plizzanet Earth was real.

If you are so far unfamiliar with the Will Smith-starring Focus (which opens tomorrow), but you have been keeping up with Smith’s late night appearances, you might be shocked to find that Focus is not about the rapper/actor reigniting his music career. After all, Smith has already resurrected “Getting Jiggy Wit It” for a recent Late Show appearance. Next up? “Summertime.” Just go on tour, Will Smith.

On last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, former Saturday Night Live star Will Forte reminisced about a prank he once played on co-star Kenan Thompson, a generally benign (but charmingly so) prank that saw him and Kristen Schaal playing around in Thompson’s dressing room when he wasn’t present and then sending him pictures of the mayhem. This is a classic prank. What could possibly go wrong?

For years, people have wondered if Kenny G, king of contemporary smooth jazz, has a sense of humor. He seems very serious and very dedicated – and let’s be real here, very talented – and that hasn’t saved him from being the butt of many jokes. But was the real joke that Kenny G was in on the joke? Based on his appearance on last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, we’re now convinced that the man knows exactly what he’s doing, and he’s relishing it.

In his annual post-Oscars show, the Jimmy Kimmel Live! host unveiled a look at his eponymous acting school, where’s he trained such stars as Gary Oldman, Jeff Bridges, and Jennifer Aniston, thanks to his decidedly off-beat tactics. Has it profitable? Sure. Is it safe? No.

Benedict Cumberbatch is a man of his word. If he says he’s going to appear on your late night show, he’s going to appear on your late night talk show, for goodness sakes! Even if he just got married! Like, the day before! Across the world! He’ll still be there!
