Arrow picked one hell of a week for its 100th episode, landing smack-dab in the middle of The CW’s four-way superhero crossover with Supergirl, The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow. Still, we’ve time yet before the heroes come together, for which producer Marc Guggenheim reveals not only what brings Supergirl to Star City, but also what other familiar faces will pop up for Arrow’s centennial.

If ever you thought the first season of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow over the top, just wait until Season 2. Not only will the team face off against a “Legion of Doom” comprised of returning villains like Malcolm Merlyn and the Reverse Flash, so too have new Justice Society of America heroes come aboard, and even a certain Mayor Queen!

The same day that saw The CW expanding its superhero ranks also brought them closer together by the upgrade of Wentworth Miller’s Captain Cold to a “franchise regular” across all series.
