Along with introducing The CW superhero series incarnation of The Huntress (Jessica De Gouw), last night's all-new 'Arrow' episode "Muse of Fire" finally answered the season-long mystery of 'Torchwood' star John Barrowman's mysterious character, the previously described "well-dressed man. Or did it? 'Arrow's' first season still carries plenty of lingering mysteries in episodes to come, so is there more to Barrowman's character than we can imagine? We were relieved to see that The CW's Green Arrow adaptation 'Arrow' did so well critically and commercially (it was the network's most-watched debut in years), so that the show didn't get a bad wrap or written off as a 'Smallville' clone.  Still the series has quite a bit of work ahead of it despite the good will created by the pilot, particularly in introducing new characters down the line.  One character we're interested to meet is that of 'Torchwood' star John Barrowman's mysterious billionaire, so what's the latest intel?

It was either that, or "The CW Puts The 'Arrow' In John Barrowman," and we feel we made the right call.  In any case, it's a glorious day for fans of 'Torchwood' star John Barrowman as the British/American actor has lined his quiver for a recurring role on The CW's new superhero effort 'Arrow.'  The former Captain Jack Harness will appear in a number of episodes following the show's October 10 review, but who will the dashing star be playing against Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen?

The future of UK cult hit and American transplant 'Torchwood' remains somewhat in doubt given the meager performance of 'Torchwood: Miracle Day' in its inaugural USA run on stars, but that doesn't mean Captain Jack Harkness, er, John Barrowman is starved for work.  The seemingly immortal actor has picked up a leading role in ABC's period pilot 'Gilded Lilys' according to TV Guide.
