by Nick Romano April 9, 2014 @ 9:05 AM
Channing Tatum can do many things -- dance like no one's watching ('Magic Mike'), protect the President ('White House Down') and transform into a lupine warrior ('Jupiter Ascending'), to name a few -- but it looks like one thing he can't do is pull off a Latin America accent. Or at least Jenko can't. The first '22 Jump Street' clip dropped online, along with a batch of new photos and a poster, giving us a look at one of the more funny moments glimpsed from the trailers.

Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill are ready to reunite ... Well, technically they already did in 'The LEGO Movie' as LEGO Superman and LEGO Green Lantern, but we mean reprising their roles as undercover cops for '22 Jump Street.' With Schmidt and Jenko now heading to infiltrate a local college, there will surely be many crazy nights to be had -- so many, in fact, that Sony had to release an alternate cut of the '22 Jump Street' trailer just to give audiences a taste of how many antics will be taking place.

According to Deadline, Fox has acquired the rights to Marie Brenner's 1997 article 'The Ballad of Richard Jewell,' which will serve as the source material for the film.

'22 Jump Street' Poster: Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum Aren't 21 Anymore

by Jacob Hall January 29, 2014 @ 2:50 PM
There is no comedy we're looking forward to more in 2014 than the reunion of Schmidt and Jenko, and there's nothing the newly released '22 Jump Street' poster can do to change our minds. The one-sheet could be completely blank and we'd still be excited because '21 Jump Street' remains one of the funniest movies of the past few years, and with everyone back for the sequel our expectations are hight.

Seth Rogen's Animated 'Sausage Party' Casts James Franco, Jonah Hill, Kristen Wiig and More

The last we saw Seth Rogen, James Franco and Jonah HIll onscreen together was in 'This Is the End,' but the trio won't wait long to reunite as they're already planning one big, R-rated 'Sausage Party.' Yes, it sounds like something one of your bros would say while funneling some PBR at a frat party, but this is in fact the title of Rogen's upcoming animated movie. Funny enough, the recently announced voice cast for the film is also a bit of a sausage fest.

'The Wolf of Wall Street' Blu-ray Will Include the Rumored Four-Hour Cut

by Britt Hayes January 28, 2014 @ 12:34 PM
There was a lot of talk before Martin Scorsese's 'The Wolf of Wall Street' hit theaters about the length of the film: the release had been delayed so Scorsese could get the runtime down to an acceptable three hours from what was said to be a four-hour version of the film, and although Scorsese never releases "director's cuts" of his films, we're hearing you will be able to see his four-hour cut after all when the Blu-ray hits shelves this year.

'SNL' and the Former Porn Stars Want to Sell You Some "Lambertinis"

by Jacob Hall January 26, 2014 @ 9:18 AM
Sometimes, 'SNL' is at its absolute best when it decides to go fully and truly off the rails. When the show does abandon reality, it often does so in the final sketch of the night, where things are allowed to get crazier and funkier since more easily unsettled audiences tend to be asleep. Of course, this is just a long-winded way of saying that no sketch has dominated the final segments in recent years quite like the "former porn stars," which pushes the weirdness to truly strange and amazing levels.

'SNL' Takes You "Inside SoCal'

by Jacob Hall January 26, 2014 @ 9:09 AM
Andy Samberg's biggest contribution to the 'SNL' legacy were his digital shorts and music videos, where he took the show's format off the stage to create hilarious pre-recorded material that was primed to go viral all over the internet. With his departure, the show has continued to produce short films and recorded sketches, but Kyle Mooney and Beck Bennett’s work has consistently stood out from the rest of the pack, mainly because of how different it feels from the typical 'SNL' short.

'SNL,' Jonah Hill and Michael Cera Parody 'Her' With 'Me'

by Jacob Hall January 26, 2014 @ 9:04 AM
'Her' may not be lighting the box office on fire, but it's undoubtedly one of the best films released in 2013 and a movie that will generate conversation and analysis for years to come. In other words, it's perfect fodder for 'SNL,' who took the film and transformed it into something far creepier and funnier than anything in the actual movie.

'SNL': Leonardo DiCaprio Crashes Jonah Hill's Opening Monologue

by Jacob Hall January 26, 2014 @ 8:57 AM
When Jonah Hill graced the 'SNL' stage last night, he wasn't just a very funny comic actor -- he was a two-time Oscar nominated thespian with Very Important Things to say. The only problem is that no one cared about Hill. They only cared about his 'The Wolf of Wall Street' co-star Leonardo DiCaprio and all of the cast members strategically placed in the audience made sure to let him know this.
If you think this opening monologue set-up is just an excuse to get Mr. DiCaprio himself to show up for a brief but unforgettable appearance ... you're right.
