Spike Lee's 'Oldboy' changed some skeptical minds when the red-band trailer hit earlier this month. Looking like a faithful and intense remake, the trailer got us thinking that the movie might be a thriller worthy of our time after all. But, now comes the news that it's release date has been pushed back, and this isn't the first time. Should we be concerned?

Released from a several-year prison sentence, a man must find the mysterious figure who took his life away.
The worst thing a remake of Park Chan-Wook's incredible 'Oldboy' can be is generic, which is why a newly released poster for Spike Lee's upcoming remake has, for the first time, filled us with true optimism about the project. The fact that an official one-sheet for the film is this bizarre leads up to believe that (maybe, perhaps, hopefully) the final film will be as insane as the Korean original. Fingers crossed, folks.
'Sin City: A Dame to Kill for' is shooting now, and director Robert Rodriguez -- much like Bryan Singer -- knows how to use twitter to keep people interested in his upcoming projects. He's just tweeted some photos from the set that show some of the before and after process of making the film. The latest photos feature Josh Brolin.
Dirty Harry would love 'Gangster Squad,' a movie about cops who operate so far outside the law they make Clint Eastwood's signature detective look like a pencil-pushing dweeb. Assembled by LAPD police chief Bill Parker (Nick Nolte), and supposedly inspired by a true story, the members of the so-called Gangster Squad operate as judge, jury, and executioners. They don't arrest their targets; they "wage war" against their enemy, mob boss Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn). In their quest to bust up Cohen's rackets, the Gangster Squad brandishes about a billion guns and not a single badge. Hell, even Dirty Harry waited until the end of his movie to toss his away.
Hot on the heels of yesterday's announcement that Joseph Gordon-Levitt joined the cast of Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez's 'Sin City 2' comes breaking news that Josh Brolin has signed on too and will star as the film's lead.
'Gangster Squad' -- featuring an all-star cast including Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, Sean Penn and Josh Brolin -- hits theaters next week, and we're excited to see one of the most anticipated movies of the new year on the big screen. While Warner Bros. released a number of trailers, posters, images and behind-the-scenes footage to get us all pumped, it's now time to bring on the clips -- six clips in fact!
Looks like the 'Gangster Squad' marketing has recovered from the movie's delay and reshoots, as we're now being bombarded with looks at the film. Now there's five character posters that help show the look and feel of the fillm.
Josh Brolin and Sean Penn have been working together often recently. Both appeared in 2008's 'Milk' and will be in next year's 'Gangster Squad.' Now it appears the duo will work together again, though with Penn directing Brolin in his adaptation of 'Crazy for the Storm.'
See all those cool cats up there? They're just chillin', waiting for the new international trailer to be released for their upcoming movie 'Gangster Squad.' Looks like they can finally stop hanging out at the park and go watch that new trailer that was just released today.
