We've speculated for months on who would be playing Thanos, the overarching villain of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Would it be Vin Diesel? Benicio Del Toro? Kevin Feige said they had the actor cast, but that they weren't ready to reveal who it was just yet. Well, they might not be ready, but that doesn't matter because the word is out.

With so much attention lavished on comic book adaptations, it's surprising that 'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For' isn't projected to be one of the bigger films of the summer. Then again, it doesn't feature any superheroes, and it's a sequel to a film that came out nine years ago. But to stoke interest in the return to 'Sin City,' character posters have been released.

There was a time when we thought 'Sin City 2' would never happen. It's been eight years since the original hit theaters and director Robert Rodriguez, writer Frank Miller and the cast all seemed to have moved on. But, lo and behold, a weird thing happened and 'Sin City 2' actually got made. Today, we've got a new trailer for the long-awaited follow-up.

The first 'Sin City 2' trailer is finally here, and it's been long overdue. Not only has it been nine years since the first film hit theaters, but also the Robert Rodriguez film (officially titled 'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For') was delayed for a year for reasons unknown. So really appreciate this first look at the coming sequel.

'Oldboy' Review

You'd think that a guy trapped in a hotel room for 20 years would find a better movie to be in once he got out, right?
'Oldboy,' Spike Lee's remake of the Park Chan-wook cult film from 2003, is a fairly rotten film, which is strange because it is very similar to the rather effective original. Sometimes, though, there's something gained in the translation.

Josh Brolin is back with a vengeance, as is apparent in a newly released clip from 'Oldboy,' the American remake of Park Chan-wook's 2003 South Korean mystery-thriller. While we've already seen bits of him in action, in addition to his co-star Elizabeth Olsen ('The Avengers 2'), FilmDistrict offers up even more footage, plus new photos featuring 'Elysium' star Sharlto Copley, and more!

'Labor Day' Review

Jason Reitman's new film 'Labor Day' is adapted from a Joyce Maynard novel, and while her literary pedigree holds some water, what ends up represented here leads me to think it's one of those books with Fabio on the cover.
It's New England, it's the 80s and Hank (Gattlin Griffith) is the emo-ist kid in the world. He's got a reason to be. He lives alone with his clinically depressed mother (Kate Winslet). While still new to adolescence, he's basically taking care of her. His father (Clark Gregg) couldn't hack it anymore, but lives in the same town with a new wife and new kids.
Stagnancy has hit the (large, old) house but one Labor Day weekend Winslet's longing for an adult connection will be met. Josh Brolin enters her life and he is the dreamiest of dreamboats every to emerge from a dream. He's handsome, he's attentive and he fixes things around the house. He teaches Hank how to swing a baseball bat and he bakes his own pie crust from scratch, for heaven's sake. There's only one problem - he's just escaped from prison and he's wanted for murder.
