All week long we've seen the axes fall and numerous series granted surprising renewals, and at long last CBS has chimed in with their major alterations for the year to come. Not only has Sarah Michelle Gellar and Robin Williams' 'The Crazy Ones' suffered a surprising cancellation, but so too has 'LOST' castaway Josh Holloway's 'Intelligence,' the 'Bad Teacher' adaptation and a number of other CBS series.
It's been almost 10 full years since the opening of ABC's 'LOST' saw the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 marooned upon the shores of a mysterious island, whose various challenges forced them into a mantra of "live together, die alone." While six seasons and an epic finale may not have answered every question raised by inquisitive fans, the majority of the cast all gathered at Sunday's PaleyFest reunion panel to celebrate the magic (and insanity) that was 'LOST.'
Over the summer we were privy to the first screening for 'LOST' star Josh Holloway's new CBS vehicle 'Intelligence,' currently on deck for midseason. Reactions to the initial episode ran the gamut, though CBS has enough faith in the techno-drama to bump up its premiere from February to January, which might not reflect so well on flailing Toni Collette thriller 'Hostages.'
It's time to put on our speculation hats. Who should take up the mantle of the Dark Knight in the new Batman/Superman movie? Well, we have a few suggestions.
Though the buzzworthy new series won’t debut until sometime in February, CBS tech spy thriller ‘Intelligence’ held its big debut at Comic-Con 2013. The new series stars ‘LOST’ vet Josh Holloway and ‘Once Upon A Time’ star Meghan Ory, as well as ‘CSI’ staple Marg Helgenberger, so how does the pilot stack up, and what do the cast and producers have to say?
Late the other day CBS released a complement of extended trailers from its Upfront presentation, replacing the limited versions shown to those outside the actual events. Noticeably missing from the extended lineup was a full trailer for Josh Holloway's sci-fi-esque spy thriller 'Intelligence,' but now CBS has delivered the full preview of the 'LOST' star's new series. Does it display the 'Intelligence' of its namesake or feel all-too-familiar? Find out inside!
As you may have noticed, this is the week of Upfront presentations and today it's CBS who offered a peek at their fall 2013-2014 lineup. We're certainly inclined to check out Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar's single-camera 'The Crazy Ones,' as well as Chuck Lorre's latest show 'Mom,' Will Arnett's 'The Millers' and new dramas 'Hostages' and 'Intelligence,' so preview the newest offerings inside!
Just when you thought TV news might have stopped for the day, we're back again! CBS has issued their full list of new series pickups, very few of them any real surprise, but exciting nonetheless. In addition to Sarah Michelle Gellar and Robin Williams' TV return 'Crazy Ones,' the eye has picked up Will Arnett's post 'Up All Night' sitcom, Chuck Lorre's 'Mom,' along with several new drama pilots, so get the inside scoop on CBS new lineup inside!
Teen dance movies had their time in the sun, and though the 'Step Up' franchise continues, the genre seemed to peak about a decade ago. While movies about inspirational coaches are evergreen, and show up every couple of years. Someone had the brilliant idea to combine the two genres, and that's why we're getting Josh Holloway coaching dancers in 'Battle of the Year.'
Fans of the hit show 'Lost' get in groups and fly to deserted islands to gather around campfires on a weekly basis so they can nitpick over their favorite show that ended a couple of years ago. One topic they'll be discussing this weekend on whatever lonely island they've chosen is actor Josh Holloway's new role in an upcoming thriller.
