Earlier this week, 'Avengers 2' director Joss Whedon hinted that in the upcoming sequel "there will definitely be some people that will shake [The Avengers] up." So just who are these new additions to the 'Avengers' movie? We've confirmed the identities of two Marvel superheroes who will be joining Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Hulk, Hawkeye and Black Widow on their next adventure!

As 'Iron Man 3' gets set to hit theaters this weekend, Joss Whedon continues to tease 'Avengers 2' with public comments. Just a few days after he mentioned he's adding a brother/sister team to the upcoming sequel, comes Whedon's comments on Robert Downey, Jr.'s potential retirement and the "big finale" coming in 'Avengers 2' as the superhero team gets ready to face off against Thanos.

Even without a shred of promotional material or preview clips, we remain fairly certain Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' pilot will move forward with a full-season pickup at ABC. The network would very likely have a gold mine with a Joss Whedon-produced series tying into the blockbuster Marvel Cinematic universe, but what if ABC ultimately decides to pull the plug? Coulson himself, Clark Gregg talks about Phil's future beyond 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' inside!

Great news, folks! While we still have plenty more of the waiting game to play until we see 'The Avengers 2' in 2015, Joss Whedon has indeed finished a draft of the script and he says "it's in a very good place." That said, how would you like your first taste of what to expect from the far-from-finished storyline?

A few weeks ago, we heard the lightly unnerving news that Marvel's Joss Whedon-helmed 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' TV series had undergone a minor name change, becoming 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' in full nomenclature. Mixed reactions to the title change aside, now we're finding that the upcoming ABC drama pilot may drop the "Marvel" in practice, to simply remain 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Clear up all the 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' TV series confusion inside!

Plenty of ink has been spilled concerning the extraordinary success of 'The Avengers' but with "Phase 2" of Marvel's cinematic slate about to begin, we're going to be spilling even more. Now that 'Game of Thrones' season 3 has begun its run, and 'The Walking Dead' has closed up shop until season 4, genre TV fans have plenty of new adventures to look forward to. ABC's 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' TV series has yet to recieve an official series order, but will likely debut this fall regardless, continuing the adventures of Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and a new team. Yet every Marvel fan still has one major question for the series: just how will Coulson return for 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' after the events of 'The Avengers'?
