Now that 'Game of Thrones' season 3 has begun its run, and 'The Walking Dead' has closed up shop until season 4, genre TV fans have plenty of new adventures to look forward to. ABC's 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' TV series has yet to recieve an official series order, but will likely debut this fall regardless, continuing the adventures of Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and a new team. When 'Veronica Mars's Kickstarter movie soared past its goal of two million dollars yesterday, it was apparent that a new paradigm could be approaching for cult shows. After 'The Avengers' it seemed a foregone conclusion that The Hulk would eventually get his own movie. Then came the rumors that a big part of Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe would involved Hulk being sent to outer space after 'The Avengers 2' launching the 'Planet Hulk' storyline from the comics. But 'Avengers' director and Marvel Godfather Joss Whedon has commented on the Planet Hulk rumors and he calls the idea "nonsense."
