One of the biggest surprises to emerge from the massive success of 'The Avengers' was the renewed interest in the Hulk (as well as the puny Dr. Bruce Banner). Marvel's green monster had headlined two solo movies of his own with mixed results, but for the first time, audiences had seen the true potential of the character. 'Avengers' director Joss Whedon recently spoke about the Hulk, his future in the Marvel movie universe and just how hard he is to get right.

Seeing as the 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' TV series pilot has officially wrapped production, it may be a while yet before ABC or Marvel release any official photos or footage from the Joss Whedon-directed pilot. And though ABC has yet to issue an official pickup for the Marvel-produced 'Avengers' continuation, fans are no doubt eagerly anticipating seeing some of their favorite movie characters on the small screen, but what does Joss Whedon himself have to say? TV series, but it's still seen as an extreme likelihood the network will pick up such an obviously buzz-worthy tie in to the lucrative ongoing Marvel Cinematic Universe. 'Star Wars: Episode 7' still hasn't announced its director but one of the names that has been on the list since Day 1 is 'Avengers' director Joss Whedon. He's busy working on both the 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' TV series and 'The Avengers 2' but is there room for 'Star Wars: Episode 7' in that equation?
