If you're one of the people who think Batfleck is a bad thing (for the record, we disagree), just remember to tell yourself, it could've been worse. Back in 2007, pre-production began on a 'Justice League' movie that would've cast D.J. Cotrona as Superman, rapper Common as Green Lantern and Armie Hammer as Batman, with Christopher Nolan's 'Dark Knight' trilogy never happening.
The film never happened, for various reasons, but now if you're curious what a 'Justice League' movie could've looked like, you can read the script for the movie right now. (Warning: you'll have a newfound appreciation of 'Avengers,' the 'Dark Knight' and 'Man of Steel' after reading this.)

Despite many attempts, Warner Bros. has yet to get a 'Wonder Woman' movie made. Marvel has made a movie featuring a talking raccoon with a machine gun before Warner Bros. has been able to figure out how to get 'Wonder Woman' - their third most well-known superhero property - made. It's something that hasn't been lost of comic fans and now Warner Bros. is admitting publicly the lack of a 'Wonder Woman' movie has been a "missed opportunity" and that they "need" to adapt 'Wonder Woman' as soon as possible.

While Warner Bros. can't seem to get a 'Wonder Woman' movie off the ground (despite a script once written by current Marvel godfather Joss Whedon, himself), some fans have taken matters into their own hands. Sam Balcomb spent the majority of 2013 creating this 'Wonder Woman' fan trailer, hoping to show Hollywood that it can, and should, be done.

The CW / DC Comics
'Arrow' fans and the DC community fanbase at large have barely begun processing the recent news of a Batman/Superman crossover on the big screen, let alone that the Flash will now be introduced in the CW's Green Arrow series, and potentially spun off into his own series. Now, CW president Mark Pedowitz has stepped up to clarify how the Flash will fit into 'Arrow,' what it means for the big screen, and whether or not Wonder Woman is still in the mix.

Warner Bros.
While Warner Bros. and DC Comics slowly but surely build a movie universe that will hopefully lead to the 'Justice League' film we've all been craving, one actor has made it clear that he's not interested in participating: the Dark Knight himself, Christian Bale. That means the role will eventually be recast. The question is, who should take his place?

When 'The Dark Knight Rises' came out -- even though the film left the door open for a spin-off or sequel  -- Christian Bale was consistent in saying that he would only come back if Christopher Nolan was at the helm. And though Warner Brothers is trying to get 'Justice League' going and would love to have him back, Bale has just said he will not be returning to play Batman.

A ‘Man of Steel 2' was never in doubt. Warner Bros. hopes Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot serves the same purpose as Jon Favreau’s ‘Iron Man,’ introducing movie-going audiences to a familiar hero while laying the groundwork for a larger comic-book universe to unfold on screen.
So now that Snyder’s ‘Man of Steel’ has opened in theaters, collecting an estimated $125 million in its debut weekend, we can turn our attention to the next step in Warner’s burgeoning D.C. Comics plan. Instead of 'Justice League' or a Batman-Superman team up, it sounds like we’re going to get a second standalone ‘Man of Steel’ film to further flesh out this new world.
Here’s what we know so far about ‘Man of Steel 2.’
