Marvel
Since 2011 Marvel has been pushing to release two films a year. Last year gave us 'Iron Man 3' and 'Thor: The Dark World'  with this year offering both 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' and 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' while 2015 will bring 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron' and 'Ant-Man.' And as the studio keeps having hits, they may expand their slate to release three to four films a year.

Marvel
Last month, Marvel head Kevin Feige confirmed development on a solo 'Black Widow' movie, but just a few weeks after that, Scarlett Johansson announced she was pregnant with her first child. While her 'Avengers 2' schedule was accelerated to avoid any conflict, it may impact any plans for the 'Black Widow' movie. Now, Marvel says they "don't know" if or when the movie will come out and that another female superhero could beat her to the punch.

Marvel
Most Marvel movies are fairly benign as far as far as their content goes. There's very little in the way of swearing, no nudity, mostly comic violence and zero drug use. So, it was fairly shocking to learn that 'The Avengers' was rated R by the MPAA when Marvel initially submitted it for review. What scene caused the problem and what did director Joss Whedon have to cut to get a PG-13? Let's find out.

'Doctor Strange' is going to be one of the next Marvel movies. We don't have an official announcement yet, but it's happening, likely as part of Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They're actively searching for a director now and eagle-eyed viewers will notice the first ever acknowledgment of Strange's presence in 'Captain America 2' next month. One of the big questions remaining though is, how Marvel plans to adapt the very magical world of Doctor Strange into their existing universe. Courtesy of Marvel head Kevin Feige, we are starting to realize how that will happen.

Warner Brothers, Marvel
'Batman vs. Superman' was originally dated for the summer of 2015, but as the script hasn't been finished yet, Warner Brothers pushed the film to May 6, 2016. That date was initially called by Marvel, and it seems they're not going to back down, meaning we're going to get an old fashion comic book rumble.

Marvel Confirms They Are Developing a Solo Black Widow Movie

EDIT

Marvel
When previously asked about the lack of female superhero movies, Marvel chief Kevin Feige has remained diplomatic, yet non-committal. During the press tour for 'Thor 2,' Feige's comments were "I'm not sure when that will be" and "we'll see what happens." Not exactly a ringing endorsement for a female-led Marvel movie. Apparently, things have changed over the past few months and now Feige, when asked specifically about Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow, said that they are actively developing her own solo movie.

James Gunn's 'Guardians of the Galaxy' is more than halfway through filming, but like every other Marvel project, it remains shrouded in mystery. The film may be based on some of the company's most obscure characters, but it's that unknown factor that makes the whole thing so fascinating to follow. What exactly is 'Guardians of the Galaxy'? More importantly, who are the Guardians of the Galaxy? For those not steeped in comic book lore, don't worry. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has some information for you.

Marvel
One of the biggest reasons Marvel Studios is dominating the landscape of comic book movies is its strategy. The studio releases films in "phases," planning their next films years in advance to allow time to select the right writers, directors and cast. And now Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has revealed that they've got films planned all the way through 2021.

Marvel Won't Announce Their Next Movies Just Yet

EDIT

Marvel
Marvel has been quick to pick up release dates, as they currently have three films set for release on May 6, 2016, July 8, 2016, and May 5, 2017 and have yet to reveal what those films are (if they know, which they may not). At Comic-Con 2012, they unveiled their release slate into 2015, with 'Ant-Man' and 'Avengers 2' on the docket, while this year they didn't mention anything new as their big announcement was the title of the 'Avengers' sequel. It turns we won't know what those untitled films are until next year at the earliest.
