Kevin Smith’s first Flash episode “The Runaway Dinosaur” ended up a rather emotional affair, but our first look at “Killer Frost” is anything but tearful. Instead, Caitlin seems to be running white-hot (or white-cold) in our first photos of the final pre-crossover outing.

It wasn’t terribly long ago that two-time Flash director Kevin Smith accidentally revealed his upcoming episode title as “Killer Frost,” and recent episodes have more than leaned into that heading. So it is, that the seventh episode press released teases Caitlin giving over to the dark side, and turning on her former friends.

Seeing as Kevin Smith managed to sneak Jason Mewes into The Flash not once, but twice, it stands to reason more View Askew faces would drop by the DC universe in a second go. It seems the Mallrats filmmaker managed to get Harley Quinn into his upcoming Supergirl episode, albeit probably not the one you’re thinking.

The Flash got off to a less-than-speedy start in Season 3, so what better occasion to look back at the DC drama’s ups and downs? Just in time for the next run, The Flash gets the Honest Trailer treatment, and you’ll never not notice Grant Gustin’s bobbling head again.

The CW wasted little time after Kevin Smith’s Flash episode to return him for another run in Season 3, one imminently gearing up for production. Smith even teased his return over Twitter, but may have inadvertently revealed a frosty and telling episode title in the process.

Last we heard, Kevin Smith’s TV take on The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension was still shaping up for an Amazon order, but the Mallrats director is already thinking big. Not only does Smith have hopes for Quentin Tarantino to direct an episode, so too do we know what unused portions of the 1984 film will end up explored.

Director Kevin Smith attempted for years to get a Mallrats sequel off the ground, but may finally have succeeded with a TV approach. Before any formal pickup, however, Smith reveals Jason Mewes’ Flash-y inspiration to revamp the sequel, as well its “multi-generational” plot for Brodie and his daughter.

A sequel to the 2009 hit horror-comedy (but mostly comedy) Zombieland has been teased for some time, (there was even going to be an Amazon series at one point) but it wasn’t until earlier this year that the wheels seemed to have finally been set in motion. Via a surprise logo reveal, Zombieland 2 was officially announced at CinemaCon in April, with the writers who are also working on Deadpool 2 on board to pen the script.

At least one of Kevin Smith’s upcoming TV projects appears to be getting off the ground, while a Mallrats adaptation seems to be inching forward as well. Smith updated on the project from Comic-Con 2016, rattling of a list of potential homes for the “multigenerational” sequel, as well whether “Batfleck” could take part.
