A LEGO 'Back to the Future' playset seems like a no-brainer, and yet it's never happened. But thanks to the creativity of M. Togami and the support of over 10,000 fans, that set could very soon be a reality that you can purchase for yourself.
Sad news for LEGO fans and even sadder news for LEGO fans who are also fans of the cult horror/comedy 'Shaun of the Dead.' Last month we reported on a Shaun of the Dead LEGO set that was built to appease fans of the movie. If the petition got 10,000 supporters (it did) LEGO would consider putting it into production. LEGO has reviewed the petition and...it's not going to happen.
For those anxiously awaiting 'Lego 3-D,' your wait is now a little less than two years. Warner Brothers have updated their calendar, and marked February 28, 2014 as the date for the release of Chris Miller and Phil Lord's take on the Lego universe. They've also announced that '42,' Brian Hegeland's Jackie Robinson biographical picture, will hit theaters April 12, 2013.
In case you were wondering what to get your sweet children for the holidays this year, LEGO maniacs have created their own LEGO set based on the movie 'Shaun of the Dead' that starred Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as two bumbling blokes who woke up to a zombie invasion.
Have you watched the trailer for 'The Dark Knight Rises' about 4,000 times now and are looking for something new to whet your appetite? It's a long time until July, so you might as well watch it again...but this time in LEGO!
