LEGO 'Simpsons' TV Special to Air in 2014?

Twenty-five seasons on the air, we'd imagine 'The Simpsons' to have covered just about everything under and shielded from the sun, but it seems our favorite Springfield family has at least one new animation style to boldly go: LEGO! Along with the recent announcement of 'Simpsons'-themed LEGO products, it seems the series itself will get the brick and block treatment in 2014!

'The Dark Knight Rises' trailer is nominated in the ScreenCrush Awards as one of the Best Trailers of 2012. But what if you thought that 'Dark Knight Rises' trailer didn't have enough LEGO pieces in it? Well, you're in luck because someone spent a lot of time recreating the entire trailer using LEGO and now you can watch it.

Other than the footage of 'Man of Steel' we saw at Comic-Con, and the two teaser trailers we saw featuring the voices of both Clark Kent's human father (Kevin Costner) and his Kryptonian father (Russell Crowe), we've still yet to learn the details about what major trials Superman will be facing in Zack Synder's movie reboot. Thankfully new information has seemingly been revealed from a source we all love so much -- LEGO!
As with 'The Avengers' and 'The Hobbit' promotions, LEGO leaked the names of their primary sets that will be sold as accompaniments to its corresponding films. This year, they revealed what can be expected from their 'Man of Steel' sets and may have, perhaps unknowingly, hinted at the possibility of another villain for Superman to face other than Zod.

Peter Jackson returns to Comic-Con's Hall H this year with 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,' part one of two films based on the J.R.R. Tolkien book of the same name, and prequel to Jackson's 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy.
Also making an appearance? These awesome new Lego mini-figures based on Jackson's films. Warning: Cuteness ahead might make you geek out.
