A new teaser for Bret Easton Ellis and Paul Schrader's 'The Canyons' has emerged, boasting a 1930s influence along with more Lindsay Lohan, porn star James Deen, and yes, it's still not looking very good.

It's been seven years since the 'Scary Movie' franchise reared its head, which begs the immediate question of "Does anyone even care about this series anymore?" To put it in perspective, the chief subjects of parody in 'Scary Movie 4' were 'Saw' and 'War of the Worlds,' films that have all but vanished from the public consciousness. Well, the new trailer for 'Scary Movie 5' has arrived and the subjects of mockery are at least a little more fresh including 'Paranormal Activity,' 'Inception' and Lindsay Lohan's career.
We've been looking forward to 'The Canyons,' the new film from writer Bret Easton Ellis and director Paul Schrader, starring Lindsay Lohan and porn star James Deen -- but we aren't sure why, especially after this latest teaser, which is somehow worse than the last one.
We come to the end of another week, which means it's time for another Dose of Ridiculous. In this week's edition: What Kathie Lee did to a puppy, New Zealand's new Middle Earth currency, what 'Jurassic Park 4' thankfully never was, and a really bad teaser for a movie starring Lindsay Lohan and a porn star.
Author and noted eccentric Bret Easton Ellis and Paul Schrader have been working to put the finishing touches on 'The Canyons,' their crowd-funded drama starring Lindsay Lohan and porn star James Deen, and now you can (sort of) see what those crazy kids have been up to with the first official teaser trailer.
It's been a tumultuous ride for Lindsay Lohan and the 'Liz & Dick' team. Back when we heard the actress would be getting the part of Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime network's biopic, we were a little skeptical on whether she'd be able to kick her old habits and successfully pull off this gig. But, as the new trailer for 'Liz & Dick' will tell, yes, "Lindsay is back!" Not only that, but Lifetime can prove it by showing off some behind-the-scene footage of the project.
Before Lindsay Lohan was Lindsay Lohan, she was just another teenage actress and a pretty good one at that. It's hard to imagine a time when Lindsay Lohan was hanging out with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler but back in the days before 'Mean Girls' hit theaters, they were doing exactly that.
Oh, that poor Lindsay Lohan. Just when it seems her life has gotten somewhat back on track, there's all manner of hoopla placing her at odds with her role in 'Scary Movie 5,' or compounding Amanda Bynes' recent auto troubles with a light fender-bender of her own. Now, however, the spotlight truly shines on the notoriously stroubled starlet, as Lifetime has released the first official trailer for Lohan's "comeback" release Elizabeth Taylor biopic 'Liz & Dick'! But who's under more scrutiny in the clip? Lohan or Taylor herself?
Even though Lindsay Lohan tried her best to get out of appearing in 'Scary Movie 5,' it looks like the starlet appeared on set at some point, and did her scene(s) opposite Charlie Sheen. The evidence is above, the first official still from the movie.
Lindsay Lohan claimed she's a newly reformed actress ready to make good on her commitments, but old habits are hard to break. Since filming began on 'Scary Movie 5,' which she's set to appear in with fellow "reformed" mess Charlie Sheen, she "missed every meeting" and skipped out on wardrobe fittings in an attempt to get out of the film. Not to mention she was found unconscious while filming 'Liz & Dick' and got in a serious car accident, which also violated the insurance policy she signed with Lifetime for the flick. Now she's getting into even more shenanigans as just this morning she was arrested for hitting a man with her porsche in New York City. What do you think? Is this yet another attempt to get herself fired from 'Scary Movie 5'?
