We just brought you the international trailer for Rian Johnson's 'Looper,' and now there's a domestic one that spends more time presenting the spectacle of the film. We also get to see Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) get into a fight with himself -- albeit the older version (Bruce Willis).

'Looper' is one of our most anticipated movies of 2012 simply because it marks the return of director Rian Johnson, who blew us away with his previous films, 'Brick' and 'The Brothers Bloom.' But a Rian Johnson film about time travel starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis? Oh, man. Let's get in line right now. Anyway, the film's pretty awesome new poster isn't going to make the wait any easier.

Bruce Willis has five movies due in theaters between now and the end of the year. The parade of films starts with Wes Anderson’s ‘Moonrise Kingdom’ and ends with ‘Looper,’ Rian Johnson’s time-traveling thriller. In between, he’ll co-star in a few massive summer blockbusters and continue filming a fifth ‘Die Hard’ movie. But he has little interest in talking about those efforts in this fascinating new interview, though he does reveal which of his films is his favorite. (You won’t be able to guess which one it is.)

Much of the focus surrounding Rian Johnson’s ‘Looper’ has been about either the time-travel aspect of the plot, or the fact that Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis were playing the same character at different stages of his life. Well, Emily Blunt grabbed a shotgun and is demanding we pay a little attention to her character. And who are we to disappoint a lady?

Though the teaser trailer makes the narrative pretty clear, there's still a lot to get one's head around about Rian Johnson's 'Looper.'  Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays a looper, whose job it is to kill people from the future. What happens when he's asked to kill his future self (Bruce Willis)? This movie. Check out the teaser...

We’re excited for ‘Looper’ simply because it’s the new Rian Johnson joint. ‘Brick’ was a brilliant play on the crime noir genre, and ‘The Brothers Bloom’ was a worthy, quirky follow-up. But toss Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis into the mix for a time-traveling assassination thriller, and we’re practically frothing at the mouth for this thing to get here already.

What happens when a hitman is ordered to eliminate himself?
Ask Joseph Gordon-Levitt and director Rian Johnson (‘Brick,’ ‘The Brothers Bloom’), who stopped by WonderCon in Anaheim to discuss their latest collaboration, ‘Looper.’ The time-travel thriller stars Bruce Willis and Emily Blunt, and reaches theaters on Sept. 28. As part of the marketing push, TriStar Pictures and FilmDistrict teased two photos of a gun-wielding Gordon-Levitt, who looks eerily like his co-star Mr. Willis.
