Mark Ruffalo Teases Meeting Between Hulk and Bruce Banner
Although plans to include the big green guy in Captain America: Civil War were nixed, we recently learned that Mark Ruffalo will next reprise the role of Bruce Banner / Hulk in Thor: Ragnarok. Not only will we see the Asgardian hero team up with one half of our favorite Science Bro team, but we might also get to see another very interesting on-screen pairing — if Ruffalo gets his way.

‘Spotlight’ Review: A Great Journalism Movie and a Surefire Oscar Contender
Spotlight is a story about the way things used to be done; a model of journalism in which a reporter might publish one article a year rather than one article a day (or, God help us, an hour). It follows the “Spotlight” unit of The Boston Globe, a four-person team of reporters who investigate big stories for as long as they need. In 2001, Martin Baron (Liev Schreiber) became the new editor of the Globe, and assigned the Spotlight writers the case of a Catholic priest accused of molesting numerous children. But rather than simply cover that one story, the Spotlight staff dug deeper into the Catholic Church’s history of hiding such crimes by moving priests from one place to another. Their work exposed systemic abuse stretching back decades and ultimately won a Pulitzer Prize… but wasn’t published until 2002.

It’s been a few months since the release of Avengers: Age of Ultron, but Marvel isn’t done providing us with new materials from the film. The blockbuster sequel is hitting DVD and Blu-ray in a little over a month, but you can check out a clips from one of the bonus features right now — as well as a little Black Panther easter egg you might have missed the first time around.

Did We Finally Get Proof That Hulk Is in ‘Captain America: Civil War’?
When the massive Captain America: Civil War cast list was released there was one big, green name missing: Hulk. While Iron Man, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Falcon, Scarlet Witch, Falcon, War Machine, Vision, Ant-Man and even Spider-Man are joining Captain America for his next film, Bruce Banner was apparently looking to sit this film out. Or, is he? A new report suggests that Mark Ruffalo was spotted on set in Berlin shooting new scenes for the movie with Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie and Daniel Brühl.

One thing is for certain about director Tom McCarthy — he’s been very diverse, which makes him a bit unpredictable. His most recent film was the laughably, inconceivably awful The Cobbler, starring Adam Sandler. But prior to that he made acclaimed films like The Station Agent and Win Win. With that little Adam Sandler hiccup behind us now, we’re free to look forward to Spotlight, a new drama featuring an excellent ensemble cast and some very serious subject matter. Best of all: no magic shoes.

Hulk Rights Aren't Keeping Marvel From Making New Hulk Movie
While promoting Avengers: Age of Ultron, Mark Ruffalo expressed interest in making a new solo Hulk movie, and he also revealed the reason why it hasn’t happened yet: Universal still has the rights to distribute future Hulk films, which is something Marvel would need to figure out to move forward. A new report suggests that the rights issue may not entirely be an issue at all — the only thing keeping Marvel from making a Hulk movie is Marvel itself.

'Captain America: Civil War' Possibly Adding Another Avenger
With each casting update, Captain America: Civil War is sounding more and more like Avengers 2.5 — that makes sense, to a degree, since this installment in the franchise is going to majorly change things in the MCU and really shape the future of Phase 3. So far we have (deep breath) Captain America, Iron Man, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, Falcon, Vision, Ant-Man, Black Panther and War Machine. There are a couple of Avengers missing from that list, and it looks like one of them might be joining the fun.

If Marvel won’t listen to the rest of us, then maybe they’ll listen to a valuable person on their payroll. Recently, we learned that Marvel and Disney’s officially-licensed Avengers: Age of Ultron merchandise featured very, very little in the way of Black Widow (options include a shopping bag, for instance), and absolutely no Scarlet Witch merchandise at all. Apparently fans weren’t the only ones bothered by this, as Avengers star Mark Ruffalo also has something to say about it. Hey Marvel, you don’t want to make him angry. You won’t like him when he’s angry.
