David O. Russell's 1999 film, 'Three Kings,' starred the awesome trio of George Clooney, Mark Wahlberg and Ice Cube, and told the story of three soldiers who planned a gold heist during the 1991 Iraqi uprising at the end of the Persian Gulf War -- but things don't quite go as planned. With Russell's 'American Hustle' and Wahlberg's new war movie, 'Lone Survivor,' currently in theaters, and Clooney about to release his 'Monuments Men' in February, we revisit the cast of this acclaimed satirical hit 14 years later and see what they're up to now.

'Lone Survivor' Review

War, in case you've forgotten, is hell.
I don't mean to sound flip concerning a very serious topic, but I'm not really sure what else to glean from Peter Berg's 'Lone Survivor,' a based-on-true-story tale of a Navy SEAL operation gone south. It is a brutal, unpleasant way to spend two hours. The violence is relentless and unsubtle, and when the audio/visual PTSD smoke clears, there's the realization that you've learned nothing about these characters or the wider situation in Afghanistan. Berg's sole intent is to simply show the job these men do - “gotta pay the bills,” one character IMs to his wife. While slice-of-life narrative can sometimes be rewarding, in a film with as much manipulation as this it just isn't enough. 'Lone Survivor' rattles but it doesn't stir.

'2 Guns' was one of the more pleasant surprises of 2013, a light but very fun action comedy that wrung a surprising amount of entertainment out of Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg as a buddy cop duo. It's he kind of action movie that has no pretensions about what it is - it wants to be a good time and it pulls it off with aplomb.
The film hits Blu-ray, DVD and your usual host of digital outlets today, but if you want a sneak peek at an exclusive deleted scene from the film, you've come to the right place.

How exactly do you bounce back from a critical and financial bomb as big as 'Battleship'? If you're director Peter Berg, you go make 'Lone Survivor,' a war film based on true events that's already started generating extremely positive pre-release buzz. The newest trailer for the film has arrived and we certainly hope the finished film is as intense as it looks here.

Before Leonardo DiCaprio boarded the 'Titanic,' and before he became a recurring star in Martin Scorsese's films, he starred in the 1995 film 'The Basketball Diaries.' An adaptation of the book of the same name by Jim Carroll, the film follows a teen, Carroll (DiCaprio), as he slides deeper into the depths of an alarming drug addiction. The film also starred Mark Wahlberg long before he became a beloved action star. Eighteen years later, we revisit DiCaprio, Wahlberg and the rest of the cast and see what they're up to now.

Peter Berg's 'Lone Survivor' is hitting theaters right at the end of the year, which means it could very well be an Oscar spoiler. Mark Wahlberg stars alongside Taylor Kitsch, Emile Hirsch and Ben Foster in this true-life story of a mission gone bad, and this new featurette talks to the man whose life story the film is based on.

We haven't seen much from 'Transformers: Age of Extinction' -- we know that the Dinobots will somehow be involved, and that all of our favorite transforming robots will be back to kick ass alongside Mark Wahlberg and a new cast of characters. Speaking of which, Michael Bay has offered up our first look at the humans in the film with a brand new, official image.

Well, this is a bit of a bummer. Late last year we were tracking development of an intriguing new HBO Cold War drama that had initially eyed 'Breaking Bad''s Aaron Paul for the leading role, dubbed 'The Missionary.' The role went to 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' star Benjamin Walker, though 'Breaking Bad's Jesse Plemons signed on for a supporting role, with the show to be produced by Mark Wahlberg. Has the project officially gone cold?

Shortly after J.J. Abrams' commented that 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' director Rupert Wyatt would be a great choice to helm 'Star Trek 3' for Paramount, his candidate looked elsewhere. Wyatt, along with 'Transformers 4' star Mark Wahlberg, has his eyes set on 'The Gambler,' another Paramount project.
