The new 'Hobbit 3' banner is basically a "Top 10"-y list of things to look forward to in the film. Taking the same storyboard format as previous key art for the earlier installments, this latest poster chronicles some of the epic moments to come, including a fiery showdown with the dragon Smaug and one blood-spattered battle.

Earlier this week we heard the promising, if dubious rumor from 'Sherlock' star Martin Freeman that 2015 would see the airing of a potential Christmas special, prior to the fourth season proper. Now, the BBC has gone on record to confirm not only that we'll see the dynamic detective duo in a special presentation next year, but that filming on season 4's three new episodes will commence as well!

By now we're somewhat used to the painfully distended wait in between 'Sherlock' seasons, currently scheduled for a fourth series sometime before the sun explodes into pandas, but there's a spot of good news yet. According to ever-in-demand series star Martin Freeman, we may yet see the dashing detective return for a 'Sherlock' Christmas special by 2015.
