'Guardians of the Galaxy' Considering Joseph Gordon-Levitt to Lead the Team

While DC assembles its team for the 'Justice League' movie for a 2015 release, Marvel is busy doing the same. Aside from 'The Avengers 2' and the even more upcoming 'Iron Man 3,' 'Thor 2' and 'Captain America 2' flicks, Marvel Studios is busy trying to fill the cast of their next superhero movie 'Guardians of the Galaxy.'

It was discovered only a few weeks ago that a handful of actors were being considered for the lead role of Peter Quill, but it looks like we might be seeing a familiar face getting the gig as Joseph Gordon-Levitt has been thrown into the casting pool.

As the world knows already, character actor Frank Grillo was recently cast as the villainous Crossbones in 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier.' One of the big surprises of Marvel’s Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con back in July was the presence of director Edgar Wright, who was brought on stage to introduce test footage he shot of a potential Ant-Man movie. The funny part is that Wright never confirmed that he was actually making a movie, Marvel stayed mum on the topic, and the footage has yet to be seen by anyone outside of Hall H.

The footage still isn’t out there, but an artist calling himself Samurai Jack has put together a storyboard recreation of what he remembers from the footage to give people a visual idea of what was shown.

Who is the main villain in 'Iron Man 3'? That is the question, isn't it? For a while, we thought Mandarin, played by Ben Kingsley, would be the main bad guy. Then a report came out saying this Marvel character wouldn't be featured as much in the film as expected, leading us to believe Guy Pearce's Aldrich Killian would be the primary threat. But even that is no speculation as Pearce himself stated that his role is no more than a cameo.

So who will be giving Tony Stark the most trouble? Recently discovered evidence suggest it might be someone (or some people) we already know.
