The intensely personal nature of Aziz Ansari’s Master of None left it uncertain if a second season would happen, at least at first. Eighteen months since have finally brought us to Season 2’s premiere, but should we expect the same of Season 3? If more Master of None happens at all, we’re going to need to give Aziz some space.

Surprising no one, Netflix and Aziz Ansari’s Master of None scored some top-tier Emmy nominations yesterday, making the wait for Season 2 that much more excruciating. According to co-creator Alan Yang however, new episodes will begin filming as early as this summer, featuring some very welcome returning stars.

Boy, that was quick. 2016 Emmy nominees were announced this morning, and special presenters Lauren Graham and (a very excitable) Anthony Anderson wasted no time in revealing this year’s crop of nominees. While there was rightfully plenty of love to go around for dramas like The People v. O.J. Simpson and Mr. Robot, and comedy faves Veep and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, there were a few disappointments — namely, where the hell is UnREAL?! Or The Leftovers? Come on, Emmys.
