Motor City

Despite an all-star cast and an experienced director, the revenge thriller 'Motor City' has been put on indefinite hold. The cause? Scheduling woes, of course.

Adrien Brody may have an Oscar for Best Actor, but what he doesn't have is a type or a steady line of work. Hollywood doesn't seem to know what to do with him, though he's been great in things like 'The Pianist,' and 'The Brothers Bloom.' It looks like he's going to flex some muscles with his next role, as he's up for the bad guy in Albert Hughes's 'Motor City.'

One of the busiest actors at the moment is Mickey Rourke, and he's proving why today as he signs up for not only one but two new movies. Needless to say, he's going to be busy for the next couple of years.

It's been a rocky road for casting the perfect male lead in 'Motor City.' There's already been two high profile actors who've already dropped off of the production. Now they're looking to wrangle in actor Gerard Butler. Help us Gerard Butler, you're Albert Hughes' only hope.

Actor Jake Gyllenhaal is one of the hottest actors at the moment, and we're not talking physically. Warner Bros Pictures and Dark Castle has their eye on the 'Source Code' actor, hoping that they'll get him to replace Dominic Cooper in the lead role for their latest movie 'Motor City.' Albert Hughes is set to direct the picture off of the script written by Chad St. John.
