Joss Whedon's legendary sci-fi series 'Firefly' may have come and gone, with all its actors ten years older and firmly entrenched in other projects, but no true fan (or Browncoat) will ever lose faith in the ability to re-light the 'Firefly.'  Toward that end, this Satuday will see the Science Channel airing 'Firefly: Browncoats Unite,' a ten-year anniversary retrospective of the beloved series.  Of course, the question will always remain if the series could return in some format, but even then, what stories is Nathan Fillion revealing that were never produced for TV?

Fans of ABC's 'Castle' and Nathan Fillion alike know that the actor loves to indulge his 'Firefly' fanbase by including nods toward the legendary cancelled sci-fi series, everything from costumes to characters, but might season 5 see the biggest 'Firefly' reference to date?  Earlier we'd heard that a famous sci-fi director would helm an episode featuring a murder at a comic convention, but what about the murder is secretly a tremendous nod to Joss Whedon and Nathan Fillion's FOX past?

Nathan Fillion is perhaps already a god to his many devoted fans, but now he's about to play one. Fillion, star of geek favorites like the 'Firefly' TV series, its big screen spinoff 'Serenity' and the cult horror hit 'Slither' has signed on to star in 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Sea of Monsters', the follow-up to 2010's 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief'.

While 'Firefly' fans (Browncoats) still clamor away at the notion of a reunion of FOX's tragically-shelved space-faring heroes even ten years later (come on, LOOK at Nathan Fillion now), the shiny people at 'Castle' are about to do us a big damn favor.  TVGuide reports that Nathan Fillion's one-time 'Firefly' co-star and former 'Chuck' star Adam Baldwin has been tapped for a guest turn on the ABC writer/detective drama this spring!
