The CW renewing just about every one of its series for additional seasons didn’t bode particularly well for any developing shows, and so it seems that an adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’ The Notebook will be left dangling on the Ferris wheel. The CW will hang onto the series for now, redeveloping it for next year.
