We're getting closer to the big debut of Sam Raimi's 'The Wizard of Oz' prequel, 'Oz: The Great and Powerful,' which also means we're getting closer to finally answering that one question that's plagued the fans' minds: who is the Wicked Witch of the West?
Perhaps now, we're a bit closer to discovering the answer as a brand-new 'Oz' poster has just arrived featuring the green-skinned menace of Oz herself.

The new 'Oz: The Great and Powerful' trailer has finally hit, and it's been long overdue since the first teaser trailer debuted at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year. After a slew of new pics from the Sam Raimi's movie, not including the three 'Oz' posters preceding the new trailer's release, we finally have a full-length look at 'Oz: The Great and Powerful' with more stunning footage and a deeper peek into the film's plot. But there are a few things that might have been lost amidst the hype.
After watching the 'Oz: The Great and Powerful' trailer for the um-teenth time, we've pulled  a ton of images from the video to uncover some details about the movie and who this infamous Wicked Witch of the West could be.

'Oz: The Great and Powerful' is one of the most anticipated movies of 2013. Where 'The Wizard of Oz' introduced the movie-loving world to Dorothy, the book turned Broadway musical 'Wicked' centered on the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda, this new look at the Land of Oz gives us a look at the man we all know as the Wizard (whose real name apparently is Oscar Diggs). But that doesn't mean the other classic characters don't play a crucial part.
We've already got a look at the first official movie poster and the first teaser trailer, and now a new look at the latest re-imagining of one of the wickedest of witches has come forth in an artful movie poster form. But who exactly are we looking?

Sam Raimi Drops Out of 'World Of Warcraft' Film

Sam Raimi had been developing a ‘World of Warcraft’ film for years, even getting to the point where he and screenwriter Robert Rodat (‘Saving Private Ryan’) had an estimated 40 pages of material but had yet to figure out the full narrative. Sadly, we’ll never get to see Raimi’s version, because the director says he’s off the project.
