The landscape of TV may look very different in only a few short years. We're used to simply flipping on a box to watch something on one of the major networks if not pay cable, but suddenly it seems like every media outlet on the market is looking to land original programming, be it Hulu, Netflix, or even The History Channel. Could Amazon be the latest looking to become a network of its very own with the potential acquisition of 'Pan Am?'
And now, for the bad news. While earlier today ABC picked up 9 new series and renewed 5 more than it already had, now we're getting word that several hot-topic ABC dramas have officially been passed on for additional orders. But is it really the end, or might some find new life on another network as 'Cougar Town' recently did?
