Parenthood

Boy, that Jason Katims just can't get enough of 'Friday Night Lights.'  And who could blame him?  absent a 'Friday Night Lights' movie to direct, the former 'FNL' and current 'Parenthood' show-runner is about to add his sixth alum to the on-the-bubble parenting drama for a major recurring season 4 role, but as whom?  Will he have clear eyes, and a full heart?  Can he lose?

'Parenthood' has flown in somewhat under the radar of NBC shows, seemingly always on the bubble even as it makes it into its fourth season.  Similarly, former 'Everybody Loves Raymond' star Ray Romano's last gig with 'Men of a Certain Age' on TNT didn't turn many heads, but drew plenty of critical acclaim.  So, it makes sense to combine the two, right?  Right?
