Just this morning we learned that Supergirl’s move to The CW would of course bring about a massive four-way crossover with The Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow, and might our first teaser have already arrived? No, but The CW got real cute teasing Kara joining the ranks of our other DC heroes, also releasing the first trailer for Supernatural boss Jeremy Carver’s Frequency reboot.
Just because The CW made one Super addition for the fall, that hasn’t put the kibosh on its plans for upfront season. The modernized Archie series Riverdale has officially been granted a series order, along with a Frequency reboot and more.
The wheel of movie-TV reboots remains forever in turn, but The CW’s take on time-twisting cop drama Frequency will have at least one familiar face for CW fans. Flash and Tomorrow People alum Peyton List will lead the new take from Supernatural boss Jeremy Carver.
Puns aside, The Flash will hit the ground running in its March 17 return, kicking off the first of nine episodes that will bring about some major changes to Barry Allen’s world. New footage and teases from creators at PaleyFest promise more DC villains and time-travel terrors to come, along with new speedsters in Season 2, and the biggest burning question of S.T.A.R. Labs answered.
The Flash will cool his heels for at least another week, but the Scarlet Speedster’s March 17 return will be anything but easy, judging by the CW spinoff’s latest trailer. Not only does Star Wars star Mark Hamill reprise his role as DC’s Trickster, but so too do we see The Tomorrow People castoff Peyton List as a new “Rogue,” and Liam McIntyre’s debut as the new Weather Wizard!
We weren’t surprised to see ‘The Flash’ taking care of ‘Arrow’ cousin and ‘Tomorrow People’ castoff Robbie Amell after the latter’s cancellation, but it seems yet another evolved human will make their way to Central City as well. Peyton List will appear in an upcoming 2015 episode of ‘The Flash,’ playing none other than Captain Cold’s sister, DC’s “Golden Glider.”
Since 'Mad Men' manages to keep its cast and plots so tightly under wraps right up through airing, we're always intrigued to see when the AMC drama's cast head elsewhere for work. Viewers of 'Mad Men' season 5 will well remember that Peyton List's Jane Sterling wrapped things up with Roger rather conclusively, but does the actress' casting in CW pilot 'The Tomorrow People' mean we won't be seeing the character in 'Mad Men' season 6? Learn about Peyton List's new role inside!
