Pokemon X and Y

Are you a fan of Pokemon but don't want to play through the glory that will be Pokemon X and Y on any old 3DS? You're in luck, because Pokemon X and Y-themed 3DS XL hardware bundles will be released ahead of the games.

While this article's headline sounds like we're describing appetizers at a family restaurant, we're really talking about the original trio of starting Pokemon that will show up in Pokemon X and Y. If you need a refresher, that means that we'll see Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Charmander in the upcoming Pokemon games. What's more is that we'll see them Mega Evolve!

Here's a bit of brilliant Pokemon news to brighten up your day. Nintendo has released some more information on the two new Pokemon games. We're getting Super Evolutions and Super Training.

It's all we can do to stop ourselves from counting down every second until the release of Pokemon X and Y. Thankfully, to make the wait less agonizing, we've got videos like this one that reveal new gameplay footage and whet our appetites.

During the Japan Expo in France, Nintendo announced a new variety of monsters for Pokemon X and Y, and revealed the first one you'll be able to catch in the upcoming 3DS game.
