Ridley Scott is infamous for his inevitable director's cuts, but according to the info for the upcoming 'Prometheus' DVD and Blu-ray release, we'll merely be getting some alternate and deleted scenes, but no extended cut.
Will this be enough to explain what everyone drank on that ship to inspire such horrible decisions? (Our guess: Four Loko.)

If you haven't seen 'Prometheus' it might be wise to stay away from Regal Cinemas Thornton Place in Seattle, where a ticket-taker felt morally obligated to spoil the film for movie-goers as they entered the theater. And maybe the weirdest part of the story is why he felt obligated to spoil the film.
In this week's Dose of Ridiculous we've got a Tyler Perry space movie, more 'Fifty Shades of Grey' crap (does it ever end?), a 'Resident Evil' restaurant, and a 'Cabin Fever' prequel starring a hobbit.
Comic-Con 2012 is almost here and if you're headed to San Diego, you'll see a familiar face: 'Prometheus.' But wasn't 'Prometheus' at last year's Comic-Con? And didn't 'Prometheus' hit theaters earlier this month? Yes to both, but the viral game continues and will be looking for "new recruits" at Comic-Con 2012.
Reaction to 'Prometheus' was mixed - some people loved it and some people hated it. Well, you can count Tyler Perry as one of the ones who hated it and he's going to do something about it: he's going to make his own sci-fi movie. (Yes, we're still talking about the guy who dresses as the sassy fat old grandma in those movies.)
If you've seen 'Prometheus' then you're familiar with the "engineers" (and if you haven't seen 'Prometheus' we can't help you - we've seen the film and still have no idea who these guys are...). And if you've ever seen the 'SpongeBob SquarePants' episode "The Two Faces of Squidward" then you're familiar with Handsome Squidward. And these two together?...
See that guy up above? He's what they call an Engineer in the new Ridley Scott movie 'Prometheus' and if you haven't seen it, then this news post will contain some spoilers. If you have seen it, it will shed some light on a key scene within the film.
For those of us who follow the box office, this weekend was a case of deja vu. Once again, 'Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted' headlined the top ten and once again, 'Prometheus' snatched the number two spot. Both films managed to keep their momentum despite the opening of two new releases starring two of the biggest movie stars in the world. That's good news if you're 'Madagascar 3' or 'Prometheus,' but pretty bad news if you're Tom Cruise or Adam Sandler.
The photo above is taken from the prologue of 'Prometheus,' in which one of the extraterrestrial Engineers sacrifices himself in order to allow his DNA to plant the seeds of life on Earth. But we bet you didn't know that someone is standing right behind him -- someone not seen in the finished film.
Now that her publicity duties have slowed down for both ‘Prometheus’ and ‘Snow White and the Huntsman,’ Oscar nominee Charlize Theron’s free to start prepping for George Miller’s anticipated ‘Mad Max’ sequel, ‘Fury Road.’ First step? Get rid of all that pesky hair on top of her head.
