Quentin Tarantino Dishes on the 'Django Unchained' Casting Process

For the build up to the December 25 release of 'Django Unchained,' Quentin Tarantino has started to do interviews, and in one of his latest he listed the actors who might have been his Django were it not for Jamie Foxx. That list? Idris Elba, Chris Tucker, Terrence Howard, Michael K. Williams, Tyrese Gibson and Will Smith.

There may have been some worries that - after a year of seeing films shuffle from 2012 to 2013 - Quentin Tarantino's 'Django Unchained' wouldn't be hitting theaters on Christmas Day this year. But it looks like worrying time is over, as advertising is starting to bump up, and the film now has its own website.

OK, so we already know that Steven Spielberg won't be directing 'Star Wars: Episode 7' and now you can add another director to the list of people who want nothing to do with the upcoming sequels: Quentin Tarantino. The director was asked at an awards function if he was excited about the new trilogy. "I could so care less," says Tarantino. BURN.

Are 'Django Unchained' and 'Inglourious Basterds' Part of a Tarantino Trilogy?

There are certainly some obvious similarities between 'Django Unchained' and 'Inglourious Basterds' but are these two Quentin Tarantino revenge films actually part of a trilogy? Before you think this is just some fanboy theory, it is Tarantino himself who makes the claim and even talks about the third film.

Though they may have taken a long time in finishing their shoot, it looks like Quentin Tarantino's latest 'Django Unchained' will be hitting theaters just in time for Christmas (release date: December 25), and though we haven't heard much about the film recently, we've just gotten a new 'Django Unchained' trailer.
