Kyle Chandler may have been among the detractors of a potential 'Friday Night Lights' reunion movie, but it doesn't seem as if he'll be ascending the ranks any time soon either. Showtime has officially dropped its buzzworthy Ridley Scott papal drama, 'The Vatican,' from development, effectively ending the project.

Man, what does AMC have against the modern day? Following earlier announcements of a 'Walking Dead' companion series, 'Breaking Bad' prequel, period dramas 'Turn' & 'Halt & Catch Fire,' the cable network has officially announced its next batch of pilots; period drama 'Knifeman,' and a Ridley Scott post-apocalyptic drama titled 'Galyntine,' which should feel rather familiar to fans of NBC's 'Revolution.'

Everyone is going to hate 'The Counselor.'
Ridley Scott's adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's original screenplay starring Michael Fassbender, Cameron Diaz, Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem, Brad Pitt, et. al. is one frustrating movie. At its very best – if you buckle down and really work to piece together the nearly inscrutable plot – you aren't going to come away with much. “Crime doesn't pay,” is the gist of it.

Director Ridley Scott has been playing around with the idea of a 'Blade Runner 2' for some time now, though the sequel to his classic sci-fi film has only recently made progress by adding a new screenwriter. But the question on Scott's mind is, Will original star Harrison Ford return as Rick Deckard? It turns out there's already been strides to make this happen.

When it comes to biblical epics, you've got to go big or go home. Big is something that director Ridley Scott has always done well, so it's not surprising that he went and cast two of the best actors currently working in Hollywood for his upcoming Moses flick, 'Exodus.' The long-rumored Christian Bale is confirmed for the role of Moses himself, but the latest development sees the incredible Joel Edgerton in talks to play Ramses.

The full-length trailer for Ridley Scott's 'The Counselor' has arrived online, and there's only one thing this movie wants to know: Have you been bad? Well, it seems Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem and Michael Fassbender certainly have, judging by the action in the trailer. There's not much explicitly described about the plot, which is kind of how we like our trailers.

It's been over twenty years since Brad Pitt last worked with Ridley Scott, which is surprising as it was Pitt's work in 1991's 'Thelma and Louise' that launched him into superstardom. The duo have reunited for 'The Counselor,' and in anticipation of a new trailer hitting tomorrow, three clips from the movie have been released.

Ridley Scott's 'The Counselor' is going with an impressionistic ad campaign so far. Highlighting its all-star cast -- which includes Michael Fassbender, Javier Bardem, Cameron Diaz, Penelope Cruz, and Brad Pitt -- it suggests a neo-noir as the protagonist (Fassbender) gets involved with criminal activity that could eventually destroy his body or his soul, and possibly both.
